A holiday memorie printed by Profotonet | MY HOME

This Spring I was in Milan for Milan Designweek again and each year I try to stay longer as there is so much to see and do and I really love it. I shared an apartment with 4 friends and we had a great time with the usual pizza nights and a mega design overdose. I came home with lots of photo’s and stories, but I have not show you yet my highlight of this Milan trip which was a beautiful installation in the catacombs of the store of fashion designer Antonio Marras, Nonostantemarras

I spent many Summers on the beautiful Island of Sardinia, where the father of my kids was born and kind of became the adult I am now between Amsterdam and the village near the sea. My heart is still there and I love the island, it’s people and traditions and the many beautiful memories I build during warm summers when life was easy. Antonio Marras is from Sardinia as well and together with the craftsman of BAM-design he build this amazing installation for Milan designweek.

Profotonet
This being my most treasured moment of this years Milan trip I choose to print one of the pictures in a larger format to enjoy it every day! I hardly never print something out but I am so happy I did, the colours are amazing, the concrete looks as soft grey as it was in reality whilst the whole image is really sharp, can you imagine this picture was made with my Iphone!

Profotonet is a professional photo lab that works with both hobby and professional photographers. I had my picture printed on Dibond but you can also choose for photo prints, canvases, wood, or create a photo book, all on real photo paper. New are the Polaroid-style photos, which I really love to try out next. If you are looking for a great photo lab with an easy website to create your holiday memories, I can highly recommend Profotonet, have a look at BeeldSteil to see her fine art print by Profotonet.

Dibond, also known as aluminium is one of the highest qualities you can choose for your photo, printed on professional Fuji fotopaper or one of the special black and white papers, the photo get glued on 3mm dibond giving it an exclusive look. Dibond consists of two thin layers of aluminium and an intermediate layer of black polyethyleen. The material is moisture resistant, dimensionally stable and durable. The picture can also easily stand alone against the wall.
