Sculptural minimalism | new design by Kristina Dam at ShowUp

With pictures showing up on Instagram and the blogosphere I kind of regret I wasn’t able //well to lazy to sort everything out to be honest// to visit North modern this year. I love the Bella centre for all it’s light and the many brands, and of course it is the ultimate excuse to visit Copenhagen.

I’ll be happy to visit Dutch ShowUp again this weekend though, where many more Scandinavian brands show up lately. The Dutch trade show which is getting better every time I visit might be a bit smaller and maybe showing more home accessories but still perfect to look around and see what is happening with my own eyes. 


Kristina Dam is one of the Danish brands that will be represented at ShowUp so I thought it was a good moment to show her latest work on the blog. The new collection, called ‘Sculptural minimalism’ shows a beautiful coat stand and mirror in metal, different objects and other design. I think we will see many more metal cabinets and objects this coming fall, something I personally have always loved for my own home.

The new collection can also been seen at Maison et Objet and Oslo Design fair.
