Some time ago I already wrote about Furnishing Utopia, through the facebook page of Norm architects I found these pictures of the second shaker design workshop in Massachusetts Frederik Werner, senior designer at Norm Architects, is following together with the designers from all over the globe.

Seeing from the pictures a great vibe to get inspired and as they mention in the photo album ‘getting ideas for new re-interpretations’. The Shakers are often credited as the first minimalists, and their furniture and lifestyle has inspired many modernist and contemporary designers all over the world.
