MENU Space | 3 days of design

Can you believe it had been four years since I last visited Copenhagen, time seems to have passed so fast and were filled with small trips to different countries and fairs over the last years. Yet I have very fond memories of my first stay in Copenhagen where, together with a team of 8 other bloggers, we were invited for a tour along Copenhagen’s finest design brands. Two months later we came back to decorate a Bloggerzone at Northmodern, which was called Designtrade by then, there’s a recap on the blog here: DesignCPH we stayed together as a group and frequently travelled working with brands for three years and still see or work with each other on different occasions.Last week I went back for a few days to visit the annual design festival 3days of Design and on the first evening I was invited by MENU for a press dinner to celebrate the opening of ‘MENU Space’. Their new design studio, office space and café is located in the harbour district of Nordhavn where they will stay for the next year… even bigger plans are made for the next location I have been told, and I can’t wait to see.

First let’s have a look at the new Menu Space and a sneak peek at the dinner table where we enjoyed a dinner in family style sharing delicious grilled fish and vegetables. We finished the evening watching three ballet dancers from the Royal Danish ballet dancing around in the space. The next morning I went back to make some pictures for the blog, visit MENU SPACE at Hamborg plads 1 2150 Nordhavn, enjoy!
