An attic apartment by Hanna Wessman

Throughout the years I have been looking probably a hundred times at the simple sisal rugs when strolling through IKEA, they always make me sneeze. In my teens I had a wall of my attic room covered with small sisal tiles, guess I have always loved to think a bit out of the box. I never really felt the urge to buy one of the rugs but every time I see one in a beautiful home it makes me wanna go and buy one for my kitchen after all.

The home shown in the pictures is designed by Hannah Wessman for Swedish artist Måns Zelmerlöw. What originally started as a kitchen renovation ended in a re-design by Hanna Wessman and I think she did a fantastic job, maybe only the fridge and wine rack are not up my taste. I do love the overall design, the dark rustic wood, the grey silk carpet and the different sculptural shapes and objects. I just love the dark table with Jean Prouvé chairs, the pot on the table is by Hanna Wessman.
