Trend Inspiration from Oslo Design fair

Although I did not visit the fairs in the Northern countries myself I love to see how trends were showed in Norway and Sweden this last weeks. At most fairs you will find the latest trends presented in an exhibition or Trend talk like we did in Hannover: DOMOTEX | Framing Trends & How to collaborate with bloggers

At imm in ‘Das Haus’ by Lucie Koldov light played the main role, a really colour full exhibition, find some pictures of it in my Facebook album and on Pinterest (soon). Two other bloggers and myself also each wrote a tour along our favourite brands where people got to learn the latest trends and collections by selected brands.

At Oslo Design fair this years theme was ‘Identity‘ Kirsten Visdal has been the curator of a special exhibition, and interpreted the exhibition theme through four trends: Androgyn, Interpretations, Floral and Chlorophyll, with stylist Per Olav Sølvberg as creative partner presented in different zones. The pictures in this post show the Androgyn theme in a dimmed and monochrome color palette with beautiful furniture from Menu. Also Annaleena Karlsson presented her idea behind the theme, have a look here and here to see and read more about that.
