A private hotel in Mexico | The Tulum Treehouse

I have no idea why but it can’t be a coincidence that all week I come across Mexico! Of course I have enjoying the beautiful pictures of my friend Agata who was on honeymoon in Mexico on Instagram, but there was more,  including this beautiful bedroom above… such a serene space. It is one of the bedrooms of theTreehouse, a place to welcome friends and created by a diverse group of designers and artisans from Tulum and abroad.

Tulum Treehouse includes large common areas, several spacious wrap-around terraces, multiple spaces for indoor-outdoor dining, and five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are rented separately or the house can be rented as a villa that can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably.

I fell in love with the polished white cement, the locally sourced wooden details and the trees that surround the house. The tranquil rooms are furnished with local textiles and ceramics, Oaxacan rugs, and bespoke furnishings by Meridian artisans or sourced from Mexico City’s weekend antique market.
