Limited edition Tripp Trapp chair in ash wood by Stokke | w/ Style photoshoot

For our first shoot in the new year we created a serie of images for Stokke who asked us to photograph their new limited edition Tripp Trapp chair! Even though my own children are both grown up I am almost everyday surrounded by small children and their parents at my p
art time job as a social worker, and the famous Tripp Trapp chair is often a topic of conversation.

This new Tripp Trapp chair is different, in limited edition premium Ash with a sophisticated taupe finish it is a stylish chair with a minimalistic feel and I think it perfectly fits the sober industrial table I designed. Taupe is a colour I always loved, and the perfect blend of tan and grey makes it a modern classic and versatile enough to complement any interior whether or not you have small children.

Created in the seventies by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik, the Tripp Trapp chair became a true icon and an example of simplicity designed for every stage of childhood. The adjustable design allows freedom of movement with both depth- and height adjustable seat- and foot plates making the chair not only comfortable for children but also in the adult position it has a comfortable and ergonomic sitting comfort! We personally tested the chair while catching up with some coffees during our shoot.

The appearance of your Tripp Trapp Ash chair will differ according to which segment of the tree the wooden part is made of. This means that you will own a chair like no other, that will last a lifetime. To make the chair even more personal Stokke offers families the complimentary option of engraving the back of their Tripp Trapp chair with their child´s name.
