Nacho Carbonell | Sectie C | Dutch Design week 2016

This weekend I visited Eindhoven for Dutch Design week, as the press centre is located at Strijp S my day started in the press room with coffee and picking up my map. This year I decided to go and see Sectie C first, as it is an area in the outskirts of town and quite far away I never got to go see it. I really think one day only at Dutch Design week is way to short as there are so many things to see.

Being an early starter I was happy to have one of the DDW cars provided by Volvo all for myself and took off to Sectie C, a vibrant area with studios, workshops, gardens, podiums, exhibitions and labs. If you love the Lambrata area during Milan designweek you will also love this area with a tight community of doers and thinkers where unexpected collisions trigger a spark that stimulates new creations. I went to see the exhibition by Nacho Carbonell who has been assembling a personal universe of surreal objects for the past decade, earlier this year 4 metal rugs made in collaboration with Nodus were seen at Rossana Orlandi.
