A copper clothes rack | Inspiration from Minneapolis

I recently discovered Wide Eyed Legless, written by Madelynn Hackwith Furlong, a Stylist, Designer and Curator living in Minneapolis. It was that one picture above that caught my eye as I loved the minimalistic look of it.

Reading further and emailing with Madelynn I discovered she had set herself a goal last year to increase simplicity in her wardrobe and style. Investing in less and better quality clothing in order to create her perfect wardrobe. On her blog you can read more on her style transformations.

I think she made the perfect copper clothes rack to go along with it. The rack is made out of copper pipes, and the matching hangers her husband brought back from his trip to Amsterdam this summer! As the copper poles are hallow there is a rope strung through the middle of them and the rack is hung from the ceiling that way.
