Ranieri – Under the Volcano & more designers at

Ranieri – Under the Volcano & more designers at former SNIA factory 👉 On vosgesparis.com today 👈 One of the installations I loved most of this year’s Alcova 🖤As soon as entering the building The striking installation by @ranierilavastone caught my attention ‘Under the Volcano’, set in the raw, industrial space with huge windows and bold lines, the installation explores the primal energy of the volcano through sound, stone, and architecture. A powerful and sensory experience where design, technology, and art beautifully came together.

At the centre of the space are sculptural lava blocks by artist @quayola shaped by a robotic arm following digital erosion patterns. It feels like nature and tech merged into something totally new. And the result feels both ancient and futuristic.

MoscaPartners exhibitions at Palazzo Litta, Palazz

MoscaPartners exhibitions at Palazzo Litta, Palazzo Litta, one of Milan’s most iconic historical buildings, have become a yearly destination. The palace is really impressive, yet familiar. Different large installation at the entrance’s and inside are the first you see. And inside I thought the massive installation by LCD textile that dominated the large Sala degli Specchi (the mirror room) was just impressive. Milan Design week is over and what’s left are th

Milan Design week is over and what’s left are thousands of photos taken at the different exhibitions. I visited around 60 locations, with some exhibitions having more than 50 designers at that one place.

My head and heart are filled with gratitude for being able to travel to Milan once again and soaking up all the inspiration. The city, talking Italian all day long, the food, my collaboration with @nardioutdoor meeting like minded people, hanging out with friends, and my small group of close friends I traveled with once more, it was all worth it!

After walking a good 16K steps everyday most of the evenings we just enjoyed having a meal together nearby our apartment for the week. A few parties we never skip though, the beautiful @henrytimi_ and the launch of @openhousemagazine are always on our list. And beside the small drinks all over the city, I also really wanted to make time for my blogpartner @jadamsandco and their Fourfold exhibition. Today I am kicking of my Milan 2025 reports with an impression of the Openhouse issue23 launch event and the work of the different designers at the @cadogangallery

Day 7 Our last day in Milan we went to see a few e

Day 7 Our last day in Milan we went to see a few exhibitions at Isola Design district @isola.design At Basic Village, a new location, Design is Human highlights the fusion of traditional mastery and digital innovation, reaffirming that human creativity remains at the core of meaningful design.

AIthough I am impressed by the different studies and materials used, I mostly go quite fast through these kind of exhibitions.

One thing that really stood out for me was how @solavaspa created different sections for each exhibitioner using their terracota bricks and unique clip system !

A few highlights: The use of glass bricks or blocs already seemed to have made a comeback, at Isola I saw some beautiful coloured glass ones used. including a stricking blue one by Zhichen Qian

Next stop @paolalenti with Marbleworks by Kreoo . Inside a ceramic room divider and I fell in love with the wooden cabinet that could be opened from two sides.

Last stop @masterly I skipped the basement where appearently the most interesting part of the Dutch in Milan was to find. After wandering over the different floors. I personally didn’t find it very inspiring this year. The whole event felt a bit stiff like a fair from the past and a big advertising event. I did take the time to look at the latest wallpaper designed by @workingbert for Paleis Soestdijk @nlxl where a matte technique with shiny gold is combined in a wallpaper. before heading to our apartment we had a quick visit at the Stockholm 2025 exhibition of @ikea where I really liked the bamboo garden chairs.
