Design Trade Copenhagen | Blogger team

Let me show some more pictures to give you an impression of our blogger tour through Copenhagen last week. It was a real threath and even more fun to discover some of my best blogger friends were taking part in the same tour. And for the few I didn’t know… I think it is amazing to see how a group of like minded Design bloggers think and handle and get along really well after just knowing each other!

In the morning several of us arrived at different times and we met up at the hotel and with some others at Muuto, where we were invited for brunch and a tour through the new office. Seeing most of us woke up at 4! to get to the airport and didn’t see any sun for some weeks it was so good to sit on the rooftop terrace under a clear blue sky and feeling the sun on our skins. We had a healthy brunch, prepared by the house cook of Muuto, yes really!

Later that afternoon we met the team of DesignTrade, a new Danish fair taking place in August 2013 for the first time (later called NorthModern fair).

Update… I now realize it was also the very first 3 days of Design we were invited to, while meeting the team of DesignTrade fair. 3 days of design began in 2013 as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat.

 Danish Royal Playhouse…

Our first stop this afternoon was a visit to the Royal Playhouse, where The Rosendahl Design Group invited us for lunch and we had a look behind the scenes. I loved the view on paper Island and the art in the black painted hallways.
