Ceramics Candles and a Book! 👇english👇 In Parijs kocht ik dit one of a kind schaaltje bij @arrogantverneuil ik zag het al helemaal passen bij de nieuwe kleuren in de keuken straks!

En ik hou van decoreren met boeken, dit is ‘Stillness’ van @normarchitects een reis langs Japanese aesthetic vanuit een Scandinavisch perspective🤍 op mijn blog meer over het book 📕

De mooie kaars van @moltonbrown maakt de styling helemaal af. Deze komt uit de nieuwe ‘Artists of Note’ collectie waarvoor drie Britse creatives gevraagd werd om drie van Molton Brown’s iconische geuren te verbeelden via hun visie en medium als uiting van hun toewijding aan creativiteit, vakmanschap en de menselijke band tussen parfumeur en drager. Punk dichter Dr. John Cooper Clarke verbeeldt Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel, deze bevat Cardamom Bergamot en Marine notes Cypress. Een heerlijke geur zo op t randje van zomer en herfst ☀️🍂🍁🤎 #candle #book #ceramic #styling

Ceramics Candles and a Book! In Paris I bought this one-of-a-kind bowl from @arrogantverneuil and I could see it completely matching the new colors in the kitchen! And I love decorating with books, this is ‘Stillness’ by @normarchitects, a journey through Japanese aesthetic from a Scandinavian perspective🤍 more about the book on my blog 📕 The beautiful candle from @moltonbrown completes the styling. This is from the new ‘Artists of Note’ collection for which three British creatives were asked to depict three of Molton Brown’s iconic fragrances through their vision and medium as an expression of their commitment to creativity, craftsmanship and the human bond between perfumer and wearer. Choosing a new floor! A project together with the owners of a new bought home in Haarlem and @quickstepfloors

Op mijn blog vertel ik meer over dit project waarbij ik samen met de bewoners en Quick-Step een nieuwe vloer voor hun huis in Haarlem uitzocht In de highligts vind je de link 👀

Haarlem is a municipality between Amsterdam and the coast. It is also the town where my grandmother was born, and I often visited as a child, making it extra special to work on this home 🤍

The house from 1905 is really beautiful but as it wasn’t touched since a long time it needs some renovation. The residents opted for a new kitchen and bathroom and of course a new floor.

For a home like this, we thought a laminate floor with wide planks would fit very well. Laminate has an authentic and lifelike wood design. Many of the floors are water-resistant and both scratch-and stain resistant, which makes cleaning easier. The floors also will not lose their colour under the influence of UV light.

👉 Using the step-by-step plan helps you make the first choices and not to overlook important details.

The preference was for an oak look in combination with a long, wide plank, which fits well with the historic house. When choosing on the site, you can also see how the chosen floor would look in your room, which we did! Swipe for the image with the floor we chose 😀

We chose the ‘Desert warm natural oak‘ floor with planks of 2050 mm long and 240 mm wide. For the underlay we chose the ‘Silent walk’ which combines perfect with underfloor heating.
