Coffee and work at my favorite place | #WorkHappy

Being able to work from home is really great and I love the freedom that comes with it. I am definitely not a nine to five office job girl, instead I love to start my day by checking my emails and scrolling through my social media feed, all over breakfast at the kitchen table. Most days I either continue my day working from there, or I move to my home studio (which, by the way, is getting a little make-over at the moment, I’ll share some details on the blog when I’ve finished revamping it!)

I also often pop in to one of my favourite coffee spots downtown, either for a meeting, or just to have a break and to get out of the house. I’m lucky to live in a city that has lots of nice places to work from, and whenever I’m working out of the house I always see it as a chance to check out new places and to get a taste of the creative vibes.

This week I teamed up with HP & Intel who asked me to test their new product and take part in the #WorkHappy campaign, in order to promote the new Hp Stream x360. I took the opportunity to take this new device to a meeting with Italian photographer Silvia Falcone. Silvia and I recently did a fun project for vtwonen together, and we share the idea that a good cup of coffee is essential when trying to get some work done!

Seeing how we both love going for a stroll along the Eastern Docklands, we met up at the nearby Sissy Boy KNSM: a mini warehouse that sells furniture, home-ware, and clothing, not far from where I live. The coffee and juices are great, and with its location being just outside of the city centre it has a great local vibe and it’s never too busy to stay focused and to get work done…. not to mention the fact that I can easily do some grocery shopping on my way back home.

After catching up and drinking some coffee, we selected some pictures for an upcoming article we are working on. The HP Stream x360 is a new kind of notebook with Intel Inside®, is really lightweight, and with the 1TB cloud storage included for one year it has plenty of space to safely store all of my pictures.

With its size just a little smaller then an A4 sized paper, it has almost a tablet feel and my favourite thing about the laptop is its convertibility. This device can be bent 360º, which allows it to be converted from a notebook to a tablet, stand or tent mode. Perfect for either presentations, when watching videos, or simply to use it as a tablet.
