In a beautiful old industrial building in my neighborhood Bloemen Bureau Holland presented the flower and plants trends for 2017 during a lunch at the Van Gendt Hallen. The huge hall was decorated with long tables dressed in green-yellow flowers and a constructed roof consisting of large leaves of various green plants.
Radical Reframe was the theme for the trend lunch 2017 referring to the changing society in which we live today and our search to adjust our frames of reference again. However, nature does not change, we feel comfertable in nature and we bring huge amounts of plants and flowers into our homes, while getting crafty at the same time at home. The green and flower trend also explains the popularity of communities like Urban Jungle bloggers and new company’s as Bloomon and many more.
In an comprehensive presentation four style trends; Equalise, Energise, Harmonise and Rebel were presented including the corresponding flowers the Dutch flower agency had chosen which you find at the end of this post.
