Back from Cologne and imm where I spent four wonderful days at the fair, in between weekends I went home to work and Valentina, who was the most amazing host took care of the space. I am so thankful she was really interested in the projekt and could explain the idea behind it and sent visitors to the different stands of the brands represented in my stand.
I think everything worked out really well and thought it was so nice of visitors to actually let me know they loved it. But what I even loved more was to see people walking around looking at the different objects or sitting on the couch and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere.
The first weekend was all about building up, and I still can’t believe that something I designed in my head and in front of a computer scrolling through tons of websites, making notes and emailing around for weeks came actually to life just like I imagined it to look like. Working alone on the blog and this project, I luckily had a great friend who understands the way I think and decorate and it was so nice I could talk with her and share my ideas, thank you muriel!

The second weekend I started with a fast stroll over the fair to visit some of the brands I love like String and the brands I choose for my stand. Of course I also visited Holly’s stand at LivingKitchen, it is a pity I could not spent more time at her stand, but luckily we could catch up over dinner and lunch breaks. On Saturday I also welcomed both Blogst, the German blogger community and a group of Dutch bloggers and journalists including some personal friends.
Also on my list were Das Haus and the Blickfang designer market where me and Valentina sent hundreds of visitors to who all were in love with the air plants in my stand. According to imm they were probably the most photographed objects at the fair and I guess it was a good choice to add them to the booth. I could tell you a lot more but rather show you some more pictures and details of the most important furniture pieces and brands (included at the end of this post. In a next post I will share some work of the designers I brought to the stand.
