A new outdoors collection by Carl Hansen & AH

Garden season is only a few months away, you might say a garden needs maintenance all year round and you are right of course. But in this case I want to talk about our sitting and lounge areas and the new Carl Hansen & AH Outdoor Series. A stackable outdoor collection designed by architect Alfred Homann. I personally can’t wait to use my patio again and enjoy some sunshine. If you are lucky to maybe have a covered terrace your garden season will be much longer and you can enjoy your garden furniture all year round. The collection will be available from March 2023

Mix and match

The series consists of eleven pieces of furniture, including dining tables and chairs, a bench, lounge tables and chairs and a lounger, all of which can be mixed and matched to fit individual needs. Made of untreated teak, it will patinate beautifully over time. The series offers a high degree of comfort with and without the cushions, which are made of weatherproof textiles.

Alfred Homann’s sense of soft shapes – as evidenced in the beautifully curved armrests, backrests and seats, where the braces elegantly grip the frame.These joints are meticulously polished by hand by the skilled craftsmen at Carl Hansen & Son, in order to achieve a soft and tactile surface. WHich results in a high aesthetic stackable collection that neither compromises on materials nor craftsmanship.
