ArtWorks by Rianne Landstra – A unique Pop-Up Concept

‘ArtWorks’ A unique Pop-Up Concept

My own interior is always in motion, I shift and change. Buy something new, or bring back a previous favorite. This is also the case with ‘ArtWorks’, a unique and moving Pop-Up concept with changing art and interior objects, curated by Rianne Landstra. Which you can currently find at Grand & Johnson in the Hallen.

Sometimes it feels like visiting a gallery in Paris with unique pieces, or you feel the sober yet unique taste of the Belgians. Other times you find a special object that completes your collection. Whether it is art or photography for the wall, a beautiful vase, or a small work of art for under 50 euros. There is always something that will suit your personal taste. Something you want to take home, maybe the start of a collection, or have in mind for someone.

Sober art

Rianne personally loves sober statement pieces that make an impact and are present due to the use of the material: concrete, metal, mirror or wood. You can see her preferences in her moving Pop-Up store and the interiors that she creates with Grand & Johnson, amongst others. Where large and small works of art, wooden objects, tableware, linen and selected ceramics and more are perfectly mixed with Italian furniture from the Molteni, Flexform or Minotti collections.

The works come from artists from South Africa, but also from Vienna, Amsterdam, Bonaire and Antwerp. As long as it appeals to Rianne, it will go for ‘ArtWorks’. This also includes the finish, the frame or the very personal message that is often stated on the back of a work. And the personal certificate that often accompanies it is important.

For me personally it is a source of inspiration, I love the use of colours and would want to take everything home. I recently found a number of plaster heads and immediately knew that they would perfectly fit the still life I created on my old black table. Watch it here: A new still life. ‘ArtWorks’ Een uniek Pop-Up Concept

Al eerder schreef ik over Rianne Landstra en hoe zij met haar gevoel voor styling prachtige ruimtes weet te creëren door toevoeging van de juiste kunstobjecten en accessoires. ArtWorks’ Rianne geeft elke ruimte een uniek gezicht en laat kleuren, geuren en materialen samenkomen met haar unieke collectie kunst, fotografie en alledaagse interieurobjecten.

Mijn eigen interieur is altijd in beweging, ik schuif en verander. Koop iets nieuws, of haal een eerdere favoriet weer uit de kast. Zo is het ook met ‘ArtWorks’ een uniek Pop-Up concept met wisselende kunst- en interieurobjecten, samengesteld door Rianne Landstra. Welke je momenteel bij Grand & Johnson in de Hallen vindt.

Soms waan je je in een Galerie in Parijs met unieke stukken, voel je de sobere doch unieke smaak van de Belgen. Een andere keer vind je een bijzonder object dat jouw verzameling compleet maakt.

Of het nu kunst of fotografie voor aan de wand, een mooie vaas, of een klein kunstwerkje van nog geen 50 euro is. Er is altijd iets dat bij jouw persoonlijke smaak en gevoel zal passen. Iets dat je wilt meenemen naar huis, misschien het begin van een verzameling is, of voor iemand in gedachten hebt.

Sobere grote kunst

Rianne’s persoonlijke voorkeur gaat vooral uit naar sobere maar wel aanwezige grote kunst. Aanwezig door het gebruik van het materiaal: beton, metaal, spiegelend of hout. Dit zie je dan ook in haar wisselende Pop-Up store en de interieurs die zij met o.a Grand & Johnson realiseert. Hier worden grote en kleine kunstwerken, houten objecten, serviesgoed, linnen en geselecteerd keramiek en meer perfect gemixt met Italiaanse meubels uit de collecties van Molteni, Flexform of Minotti.

De werken komen van kunstenaars uit Zuid Afrika, maar ook uit Wenen, Amsterdam, Bonaire en Antwerpen. Zolang het Rianne aanspreekt gaat het mee voor ‘ArtWorks’. Hierbij zijn ook de afwerking, de lijst of de juist heel persoonlijke boodschap die achterop een werk vaak vermeld staat. En het persoonlijke certificaat wat er veelal bij hoort van belang.

Mocht je binnenkort Amsterdam bezoeken, ga dan ook zeker een kijkje nemen bij ‘ArtWorks’, dit unieke Pop-up concept zit nu bij Grand & Johnson in de Hallen!

Zelf vind ik het kleurgebruik hier prachtig en is de ruimte een bron van inspiratie voor mij en een plek waar je alles wel zou willen meenemen. Zo vond ik er laatst een aantal gipsen hoofdjes en wist meteen dat deze geweldig bij het stilleven dat ik op mijn oude zwarte tafel creëerde zou passen. Bekijk het hier: A new still life.
