A mix of different styles and a beautiful tiled kitchen | Arrogant verneuil in Paris

Before heading to Milan for Milan design week, a last update from when I visited Paris last January. After reading an article about Rozemarijn de Witte and Pierre Traversier’s Parisian gallery, Arrogant Verneuil I was curious to visit their boutique and Open House and get a sneak peek into their world. I previously visited their hotel Los Enamorados at Ibiza some years ago.

Filled with vintage design, art, fashion and handmade objects the boutique is a cabinet of curiosity carefully curated by the couple. If you love vintage design pieces for your home the boutique is certainly worth a visit. Personally I was most of all curious to see the actual building and gallery at the back, where just like in the shop almost everything is for sale.

A mix of different styles and a beautiful tiled kitchen

After purchasing the building in 2021 it was renovated by French interior architect Rafael Pialoux, and Fabien Cosson. Together with Erik Gutter, owner of the eponymous Dutch interior design studio, and one of Rozemarijn’s best friends, an amazing kitchen and bathroom was designed.

The raw character of the space with the high white metal doors and the tiled kitchen really appealed to me. The two pillars between which the kitchen stands, are covered with tiles made from volcanic ash. Beautifully combined with a brass metal rack with glass shelves by Piet Hein Eek. Definitely my favourite part of the home. This wonderful mix of different styles and objects from the 50-60’ties together with contemporary pieces can be found at Rue de Verneuil 60, 75007 Paris. Open on Thursday-Saturday from 12 – 7 PM and by appointment
