Each year we travel to Milan to see the many events and the actual fair Salone del Mobile, in this next edition we can also visit Euroluce! The Salone del Mobile, Milan’s premier furniture and design fair, returns from April 8 to 13, 2025, at Fiera Milano Rho. This 63rd edition promises a dynamic blend of exhibitions, installations, and cultural events both at the fairgrounds and throughout Milan.

Robert Wilson’s “Mother” at Castello Sforzesco
Renowned artist Robert Wilson presents “Mother,” an immersive installation at the Rondanini Pietà Museum within Castello Sforzesco. This multisensory experience combines light, imagery, and Arvo Pärt’s music to offer a contemporary perspective on Michelangelo’s unfinished masterpiece, the Pietà Rondanini. The installation is open to visitors until May 18.
Euroluce International Lighting Forum
As part of the biennial Euroluce exhibition, the International Lighting Forum debuts on April 10 and 11. Hosted in the Forest of Space Arena designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, this event features masterclasses, workshops, and talks by leading figures in lighting design, fostering innovation and dialogue within the lighting community.
“Villa Héritage” by Pierre-Yves Rochon
French architect Pierre-Yves Rochon introduces “Villa Héritage,” a visionary interior design project located in Pavilions 13-15. This installation explores the concept of timeless living, blending traditional elements with contemporary design to create a space that celebrates the richness of heritage.
“La dolce attesa” by Paolo Sorrentino
At the entrance to Pavilions 22-24, filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino presents “La dolce attesa,” an installation reflecting on the universal experience of waiting. Collaborating with scenographer Margherita Palli, Sorrentino transforms this common moment into a profound and contemplative space.
“Teapots by Loewe” at Palazzo Citterio
Fashion house Loewe showcases “Teapots by Loewe” at Palazzo Citterio, featuring 25 unique teapots crafted by various artists, architects, and designers. Each piece offers a distinctive interpretation of the teapot, blending art and functionality in a celebration of cultural heritage.
“Palazzo Molteni” Designed by Vincent Van Duysen
Molteni & C unveils “Palazzo Molteni,” a seven-story cultural hub in Milan’s fashion district, designed by Vincent Van Duysen. The space combines a flagship store with art-filled environments, hosting various cultural events that highlight the brand’s evolution into a global lifestyle entity.
“Drafting Futures” Talks and Round Tables at Formafantasma Arena
The Formafantasma Arena hosts “Drafting Futures,” a series of talks and round tables curated by Annalisa Rosso. The program features thinkers and designers such as Lesley Lokko and Valeria Segovia, discussing next perspectives in design and fostering interdisciplinary dialogue.
“Design Kiosk” in Piazza della Scala
From April 1 to 13, Piazza della Scala features the “Design Kiosk,” a cultural outpost of the Salone del Mobile. Designed by DWA-Design Studio and curated by Corraini Edizioni, the kiosk hosts a series of presentations and showcases a selection of international publications, emphasizing the intersection of design and literature.
