A white bedroom with Dixxius bedlinen

Last weekend felt like spring and like most Saturday mornings I had a slow startup with a nice coffee, and some cleaning around the house. Waking up slow on weekends in my white bedroom really makes me happy, it was the first room I changed during the renovations and it was even whiter as it previously had white floorboards. Beside the floor and a lot of decluttering it hasn’t changed that much.

One thing I discovered since then is that I really love white bedlinen, I think it not only feels amazing waking up in a bright and light room but white bedlinen adds a little extra luxury hotel-like feeling, of course this is really personal…. but I think you should give it a try and therefor there will be a nice giveaway at the end of this post!

Adding a bit of black

With white as a base that is never boring I added a bit of black for contrast, I recently made some small changes, I found an old piano stool that I now use as a nightstand and searched for some small and functional items like boxes and black and white photography. I hardly never use colour but by adding plants, magazines, books and candles and like here an ink blue pillowcase you will find small colour nuances.
