IKEA Festival | Milan design week 2017

IKEA was back at Lambrata this year with a huge festival playground filled with food, music, new design, installations and four rooms with different characteristics designed by the stylists of Livet Hemma, the inspiration site by Swedish IKEA. It is always a pleasure meeting people you know online, and I loved finally meeting up with fellow blogger Pella Hedeby. We have been following each other for years and working as a stylist for IKEA Livet Hemmashe and Anna styled the inspiration rooms. Loved meeting you girls!

Which room stood out for me is hard to say as they were all lovely…. one thing I noticed and did stood out were the many props that were brought to style the stand, next to several well know golden oldies and new furniture pieces that did not hit stores yet, something I wish I could have brought for my own inspiration stand earlier this year at IMM.

At the first room styled by Pelle I was impressed by the new KUNGSBACKA kitchen combined with VEBERÖD shelves. An old favourite table, DOCKSTA was combined with new chair ODGER, here in brown (available this fall) and a bench out of the same VEBERÖD series creating a small and cozy corner. The sleeping area was really clever designed and would work great in a small studio creating a lounge area with storing space. I loved the overall feel of the room where only my favourite colours were used: white, grey black and brown tones.

Check out my next post for another great room, for product info check out Livet Hemma
