This spring Made launches a new and trendy garden furniture collection suitable for all spaces. Three major trends, Summer Punk, Modern Global and Nordic Safari are are part of the selection and suitable for both small balconies to large gardens. The Made Essentials collection has also been expanded with products especially for the smaller outdoor areas.
Summer Punk
Remember I talked about the Terrazzo and up cycling trend in the video I made with the Ambiente fair earlier this year. The Summer Punk collection is all about materials, metal frames, and terrazzo is used in both furniture, lighting and small accessories, fun fact for the Dutch… terrazzo table tops are made of old green Heineken beer bottles, among other things.
Nordic Safari
Nordic Safari shows materials such as leather and metal, both used in the bed above, light wood and safari-leather are combined with metallic accents, woven structures, matte ceramic. I loved this collection including the glass vases with leather accent I saw on the dinner table. Next to the natural safari look, a few pastel colours ensure the modern Scandinavian feeling of the collection.
Modern Global
I was really surprised by the new collections, it proves it is a good thing to spent some more time in a showroom or like in this case have a dinner and experience the different parts of the collection while dining. I loved the golden cutlery and the black tableware above is just really nice!
Made Essentials Outdoor
Essential Outdoors offers a collection of essential products designed for city life and our balconies where space is limited. The new Tice collection consists of 7 products in the best-selling colours, gray and bright yellow-green. Pictured above one of the serving carts from the collection.
Home fragrance
Did you spot this new candle on my Instagram, part of the new collection of home fragrances by Made.com consisting of seven scents inspired by influential design times like Bauhaus, Modernist, Pop, Cubist and Arts & Crafts.
Deco shown above combines spicy citrus and black pepper with geranium and jasmine, complemented by a mix of moss, amber and musk… pretty much all my favourite fragrances! I am also curious to try out Industrial, named after one of my favourite era’s which is said to be a rough, urban fragrance with a masculine undertone, with notes of smoke and leather with spicy pepper and nutmeg combined with lavender and moss.
The scented candles and interior perfumes come in ceramic holders with matt, metallic or cracked finish, matching the design style. The holders and matching packages are designed by the renowned luxury designer Vincent Villėger, known from packaging for, among others, Burberry, Yves St. Laurent and Issey Miyake.
