Edward Collinson Design studio | An all black kitchen & table

Round sculpture tables are still a favourite of mine and when coming across the ‘Note table’, I found the account of Edward Collinson, a design studio based in London that design and build quality furniture and kitchens!

Their kitchen, ‘The Broad’ is a generous freestanding piece of kitchen furniture and if you ask me  perfect to suit a wide range of interiors. Suitable as a wall standing unit or as a freestanding island, the legs give the kitchen a different look from all other kitchens, almost like a cabinet, don’t you think.

Made from the finest heart oak, every part of the kitchen island is crafted by hand in the workshop. Edward wrote me they also source some of their own timber, in the uk: “That means we cut down the trees ourselves. And of course replant” The black oak edition is supplied with sink, tap and induction hob with down draft extractor. The built extraction replaces the traditional cooker hood and filters and cleans the air internally. Different exterior finishing and worktop options are available, all options at Edward Collinson
