The ideal scenery to finish the fight in my head and hart between light and dark spaces. Fact and told a hundred times before and written in my Masterplan 2.0 stories, I love both of them equal, and by thinking of the fabulous interiors by Axel Vervoordt, one of the homes would be filled with the Wabi Sabi inspiration we see in his work, while the other home would be a minimal heaven in soft tones.
Don’t forget to read the previous two blogpost to see more of my choices.

WABI SABI INSPIRATION

Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese concept that derives from simplicity and authenticity. It values the beauty of imperfection. Elegance in natural materials, nobility without sophistication, timelessness with tradition: these are the principles that define Axel Vervoordt’s personal take on the concept.
This book features Vervoordt interiors that are inspired by wabi philosophies, showing readers how to create calm, peaceful spaces in which beauty is distilled to its purest form.
