Christmas at Casa Gitane

Whenever I am in the neighbourhood I always pop in at Casa Gitane. The Amsterdam based Interior store is probably the store in Amsterdam that best reflects my ideas of decorating. Not only colour wise, because just as on vosgesparis and in my home you will see the same colour scheme. Products at Casa Gitane you often have seen mentioned on vosgesparis, like the tables and chairs by Kar Studio as pictured below. Learn more about Kar studio here on the blog.

https://www.vosgesparis.com/?s=fainaThe Casa Gitane interior agency is known for their different projects, including Hangar across the water of the Eastern Harbour where I live and involved in former Studio Pistache. Those who follow me some time might remember the amazing dinner I organised at the Studio together with our group of international bloggers.

Christmas decoration at Casa Gitane

With a good few days at home due to a covid infection myself, straight back to work and the Netherlands sadly back into lockdown in this last week before Christmas. I had to have a quick visit downtown to get in the Christmas mood before it is all over again. Although I can also look forward to a quiet city centre with all the lights and less tourists, it is also a time to celebrate with other people and therefore quite sad.

Tables with oversized tablecloths for a wonderfully dramatic effect. And covered with different crockery, linen napkins, beautiful glassware and candles in different colours and heights. Several sculptural vases completed the picture together with different lighting objects and shiny disco balls. Here is a small impression of Christmas at Casa Gitane
