Tramato carpet collection by antoniolupi

Last month I showed you the first collection of wallpaper produced by antoniolupi and designed by Gumdesign, “Tra le Righe”, meaning between the lines, consisting of 13 designs available in positive and negative. Tramato, the new collection of antoniolupi carpets is born from the collaboration with Gumdesign and is part of the same “Tra le Righe” concept. With these carpets another lifestyle element is added to the antoniolupi collection.

The Tramato carpet collection is made up of 16 different designs with printed velvet by means of the Tufting technique. I really loved the presentation in the webinar I attended over Summer, the contrast between white and black is clearly present, the white however is not a pure white, but an almost muffled warm white which, combined with black, creates shades of different depths.

As in the wallpaper collection, all the carpet decorations are marked by horizontal, vertical and oblique lines and I love to show you a few examples in this post. More striking black and white in white Carrara and black Marquinia marble at the end of the post with another design by Gumdesign for antoniolupi, the Rigati sinks.

Rigati marble sink by Gumdesign for antoniolupi

Rigati sinks by Gumdesign for antoniolupi

Maybe you have seen the beautiful wall with white marble top mount sinks with subtile black lines at the stand of antoniolupi during my tour around imm earlier this year. Belonging to the same project of vertical marble striped ‘Gessati‘ sinks by Gumdesign are the Rigati sinks, however, in this new collection the motifs of the parallel lines are in horizontal. The visual perception of the horizontal line alters the rhythm of depth, changing its dimensional effect. The excavation, the depth and the soft horizontal curves mark a new border between what is real and what is imagination.

The blocks in which Rigati sinks are made from are obtained thanks to advanced processing
technologies capable of joining recovered slabs of Carrara white marble or black Marquinia, 1
or 2 cm thick, joined together with contrasting coloured resins. Rigati sinks are available in two round and oval shapes in white Carrara marble and black Marquinia marble. The beautiful thing about marble in my opinion is that its infinite veins make
each sink unique and a truly unique item in your bathroom. See you next month with more news from antoniolupi design.
