First of all I wanted to thank you for your nice words about my black kitchen corner over the last few months. I was so happy to finally have been able to add the Reform fronts designed by Norm architects to my kitchen. And as you might have seen also I went to the Dutch Cosentino headquarters together with my friend Anouk from Studio AnoukB who helped me to decide on the countertop. For the backsplash I used ‘Amsterdam’, one of her own studio paint colours available through Studio AnoukB. I finished the wall with my beautiful brown bronzed lamp by Anour. I will provide you with all links and blogs I made at the end of the post.
Cosentino City Amsterdam
Cosentino City Amsterdam is located at Van Baerlestraat 41, just around the corner of Museumplein, and I was happy to take a 15 minute bike ride downtown for a private tour to see the brand new inspiration centre. The new city concept consists of 2 floors with multiple spaces where the main brands Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa® stand out.
Just like I love moodboards with examples of materials to fully experience the new atmosphere I would like to go for Cosentino city has created the ‘Atelier Lab’ filled with samples, not only from Cosentino’s own collection but also from other materials such as wood, textiles, wallpaper, books, all things that help creating a real home.
If you want to experience how one of Cosentino’s products would look in your own kitchen or bathroom there is the Digital Experience, a space where projects can be displayed in 3D and adapted in augmented reality. There is also a life-size screen with a digital slab, where the slab material can be displayed at full size.
