Previously I showed several projects by Danish company VIPP. I first got to really meet the family behind the brand in july 2013 when I was part of a Blogger team and we were invited by several brands for a DesignCPH blog tour in anticipation of working together with DesignTrade. At the Copenhagen fair we created a Blogger Zone together and visited several Scandinavian brands: Designtrade Copenhagen | Our blogger zone
I have been following VIPP ever since, we met at Merci in Paris and I visited the showroom several times during 3 days of Design One of the highlights was of course visiting the opening of the VIPP Hotel and staying in two of their Hotel rooms where we got to style and photograph with w/ Style Have a look here if you want to see the Copenhagen loft or the Vipp Shelter in Sweden. With the quote of less VIP, more VIPP, Danish VIPP now introduces their new Supper Club for Social dining at a former Pencil Factory.
Social dining room at the VIPP Pencil factory
In a Copenhagen backyard in Islands Brygge, Vipp has transformed a 100-year-old pencil factory into a social dining room dedicated to sharpening your senses. Safeguarding the original factory features of the space while igniting an intimate and homey feeling was the brief given to interior designer, Julie Cloos Mølsgaard, who led the pencil in the transformation.
Welcome to the first ‘Vipp Supper Club’ venue
The first Vipp Supper Club venue unfolds a curious mix of food, art, design, architecture, and music. Talented chefs from around the world will serve fabulous food on the plate and food for thought in the conversation. Talented musicians are invited to play a tune. And renowned designers and artists sharpened up the venue with a Vipp kitchen and furniture. Containing a gallery vibe, the space is curated with art objects from Galleri Nils Stærk, Etage Projects, 2112, and others.
Can’t wait to have dinner here one day!
