Krafitzen collection by Cosentino

During Glue, a small Amsterdam Design Festival earlier this year I visited Cosentino City where I already got a glimpse of the new Kraftizen collection With five versatile, beautiful and honest colors Cosentino has mastered a refined technique through technology creating a durable surface that delights the five senses through textures and volumes, silky and extra matte colors that will clad floors, walls, tables, countertops and any timeless space that inspires.

Can you believe I immediately fell in love and tempted to replace my dark kitchen countertop with one of the new colours of the Krafitzen collection. If you love surfaces like stucco, lime- and chalk paint such as created by We are Wowmakers you will love this new collection too. Let me take you through the different colours and references with these images.

Kraftizen Albarium

Kravitzen Albarium, pictured above:  This off-white colour features transparencies and colour gradations typical of Roman stuccoes that imitated white marble. Although it has a matt finish, depending on the incidence of light, reflections and shine that simulate marble dust can be seenAlbarium fascinates with its fine, elegant texture and the refinement and light it brings to the spaces where it is used.

Kraftizen Argentium

This neutral grey shade typical of lime plastering has a visual texture that adds movement and depth to its delicate trowelled structure.

In ancient times, silver was considered a gift of nature, created by the influence of the moon. This legend lives on in Argentium, a perfect matte gray that can be combined with both warm and cold atmospheres.

Kraftizen Nacre

This cream colour ranges from fine microcement to lime plastering and is characterised by subtle details and a degraded texture that give it a high sensory value.

Kraftizen Micron
Micron is elegant and understated. The markings make it a living, breathable material in its trowel structure.  It is a dark gradient on a black background reminiscent of the most outstanding microcements on the market. A timeless and elegant design perfect for all types of spaces.

Kraftizen Umber
This terracotta colour is inspired by umber, a natural reddish pigment. Featuring a warm, textured surface, Umber is ideal for spaces with character.

Dekton by Cosentino

Dekton is Cosentino’s innovative ultracompact surface, a technological material composed by porcelain, glass and quartz. It benefits from high strength and versatility, perfect for use in both home applications and larger projects. Dekton surfaces offer technical properties, high performance and distinctive colours and textures for outdoor and indoor projects, such as kitchen worktops, bathroom worktops, wall cladding, residential building façades, flooring, furniture and shower trays. This makes it possible to create spaces with different applications to match and play with each other.
