Last week I was in Italy where I discovered the fa Last week I was in Italy where I discovered the fascinating world behind the making of our toilets at the Catalano factory.

Raffaele Ceccarelli, chief production engineer at Catalano, guided us through the different stages with great enthusiasm. From the warehouse where literally mountains of clay imported from all over the world were stored… did you ever realized raw materials such as clay and kaolin form the basis of our bathroom sanitaryware?! To the lab where research is done, and the full production process by robots, craftsman and engineers.

Walking through the different stages of production, from shaping the clay to glazing and firing, I got to see the full process behind Catalano’s beautifully made sanitary-ware. Everything is created in house, with a strong focus on sustainability, precision, quality, and timeless design.

👉👉On the blog you can read and see more about my factory visit, and the world behind your bathroom! 👈👈

Thank you @ceramicacatalano @studioccrz for an inspiring two days, discovering the surroundings of Fabrica di Roma and the look behind the scenes. #FactoryVisit #Catalano #MadeInItaly #ItalianDesign #ad
Looking forward to visit @3daysofdesign in Copenha Looking forward to visit @3daysofdesign in Copenhagen again! Still one of my favourite design festivals 🤍 The first edition I attended was in 2013 with just a few brands exhibitioning in an old warehouse in Nordhavn. It was the year we collaborated as a bloggerteam visiting this first edition and many more blogtours followed.

Untill today I still team up with @igorjosif who was there too in 2013, visiting fairs and brands, now together with other content creators and bloggers. We are just back from a factory tour at @ceramicacatalano and some of us will team up again in Copenhagen 🥂 We love to travel and are always open to visit more fairs, factories and brands, so get in touch 🤍

This year I will travel to Copenhagen with @wearewowmakers who is there for the new TineK Home X We are Wow Makers paint collaborating, just like the one I had myself, you will find the colours in my webshop @shopvosgesparis and don’t forget to visit @tinekhomeofficial to see the new collab colours and meet We are Wow makers in person #3daysofdesign #3daysofdesign25 #visitcopenhagen
