The past few months were all about travel, Milan, The past few months were all about travel, Milan, Antwerp, and Copenhagen. Wonderful weeks away, full of inspiration. You probably recognize the feeling: coming home, having nowhere to be for a while, and needing to channel all that inspiration and those ideas into something.

I’m thinking about changing my kitchen for a while now... maybe an island and a round table instead of the heavy metal table I designed. I never considered a round table but I am ready for a change… now just finding the right one 🖤

I put my small garden table in the kitchen to see how it feels... it’s only 80 cm in diameter which seems a bit to small for my large kitchen. But the idea of a round table is starting to grow on me.

Let’s see if it was just a whim, or if, once I find the right table, I might just completely overhaul the current layout. All suggestions welcome 😁

New online on vosgesparis.com ‘Wunder’ at @studioolivergustav

Visiting the studio suites is always one of the highlights of my Copenhagen trip🤍 There are not many other Studios that come so close to my sense of aesthetics. The combination of the furniture, much of Oliver’s own collection, selected artworks, and objects is a world that might surprise many visitors, partly due to the high-end design pieces.

But it makes me very happy every time I visit , watching beautiful design, old weathered objects in ancient wood and stone, and perhaps that one somewhat strange, extravagant object. I just love immersing myself in this world, where every visit reveals something new.

One of the last rooms in the studio is the Orangery, a large space filled with plants and trees. The room has a beautiful skylight, allowing plenty of natural light to stream in. Here, I discovered a true masterpiece by visual artist @geobit The white mist rising from the metal ‘altar’ formed a breathtaking composition, enhanced by the accompanying music. More on my website and on view until oktober by appointment.
